Robust community-based programming and abundant cultural experiences also create educational and economic impact for Gloucester County.

Our Goals:

  • Historic and cultural assets are preserved to enrich current and future generations

Recent Grants

Spring 2016

Bay School Community Arts Center
$2,000 to support art outreach programs, reaching groups in the community who are unable to attend traditional art classes.

Bayside Youth Ballet
$1,000 to provide scholarships for children to attend summer camp, immersed in building self-confidence, skill, and an appreciation of classical music and dance.

Concerts by the Bay

$1,000 to provide support for historical, theatrical performances by Theatre IV in Gloucester County Public Schools.

Fairfield Foundation  
$1,500 to support student activities focusing on Native American history in Virginia and the archaeology of Beaverdam Park during summer nature camps.

Gloucester Arts on Main 

$2,500 to support and expand the After-School Art Enrichment Program in Gloucester elementary schools.

Rosewell Foundation
$500 to purchase educational signs to be installed at the ruins.
