The Gloucester Community Foundation is pleased to announce the 2011 grants cycle, to support new or specific ongoing projects or programs in the areas of social, educational, medical, environmental, cultural, and scientific welfare in Gloucester County.
If your organization is interested in applying for a grant, please follow the Grant Application instructions given below. We are requiring applicants to submit the documents electronically in order to expedite the grant making process.
Applications must be received in our office no later than Friday, July 15, 2011. All applications will be evaluated by the Grants Committee and awards to successful applicants will then be voted on by the Gloucester Community Foundation Board of Advisors. All applicants will be notified via email by September 15th, 2011. Each recipient organization will be invited to attend a grantee reception to receive their award. Each recipient organization will be required to submit a final report after one year evaluating the program or project funded.
The Gloucester Community Foundation is an affiliate of the Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia.

Please indicate on the GCF Proposal Checklist form if any of the requested items are not available. An application will be considered complete when all requested documents are received or the organization indicates that a document is not available. If a complete application is not received by the deadline, the Grant Committee reserves the right to not consider the application in awarding grants.
