Guidelines for Community Organizations: As a new organization, the Gloucester Community Foundation is focused on encouraging community members to establish funds or to contribute to the Gloucester Community Endowment Fund.
In the early years of the Foundation, other than grants made through donor-advised funds, only a limited number of discretionary grants will be made from the Gloucester Community Endowment Fund.
The GCF is managed by a volunteer board and has no staff or office. Requests may be made in the form of a letter describing your organization and the purpose of your project, along with proof of tax-exempt status, a list of your board of directors, and most recent organizational and project budget. Materials should be sent to our postal address.

Individuals who would like to have a confidential discussion about contributing to the Gloucester Community Foundation may contact the staff of The Community Foundation at 804-330-7400. Please ask for the Associate Director.
