2010 Safety Net Fund Recipients

 

Bread for Life Food Pantry

$10,500 to buy food for immediate use by needy families

The Samaritan Group

$10,350 to provide low-income families with temporary financial needs such as heat and rent

Gloucester-Mathews Free Clinic

$,5000 to support the pharmacy.

The Dental Clinic

$7,600 to support the MOM's event and to scholarship dentures, partial plates and denture repair

The Laurel Shelter

$5,000 to support the expense of a nurse who will see women and children who either do not qualify for services at the GMFC or cannot get seen in a timely manner.

The Gloucester Housing Partnership

$6,000 to repair homes owned by low-income families throughout Gloucester to make them weather-tight.

The Salvation Army

$5,000 to provide immediate financial and material needs to families for meals, clothing, shelter and medicine
