Children & Families 

Boys & Girls Club of Gloucester - for the purchase of supplies to continue recently implemented virtual programs for Gloucester club members through the summer.

Gloucester YMCA - to provide scholarships for children with financial need to attend the Gloucester YMCA’s Summer Day Camp: A summer of Learning, Fun and Adventure, and to provide increased educational supplies needed to successfully facilitate this curriculum-based camp; and to support the Gloucester YMCA's Bright Beginnings program for students in need to purchase the necessary items that will enhance their confidence and support their bright futures as they return to school in the fall.

Gloucester County Friends of the Library - to offset loss of revenue and to provide funding to support programming once the library is allowed to reopen for business.

 

Emergency Services

Samaritan Group - to provide emergency financial assistance to low-income residents.

 

Food Security

Bread for Life - for general operating expenses in Gloucester County, in response to increased needs due to COVID-19.

Salvation Army - for emergency food purchase.

Helping the Homeless - to purchase food, water, juice, and other necessary items for operation of a mobile food bank.

 

Housing

GUEST - to provide motel vouchers for people experiencing homelessness to self-isolate/quarantine, and for families losing housing due to loss of employment.

Gloucester Housing Partnership, Inc -  to provide basic home repairs in order to keep low-income citizens in the county warm, safe, dry and accessible.

 

Health Care

Gloucester-Mathews Free Clinic - to purchase influenza tests, as described in the Gloucester COVID-19 response request, and for general operating expenses.
